Ronald Koeman has arrived in Barcelona as he prepares to be named as the club’s new manager.
Koeman, who touched down at El Prat Airport, is set to succeed Quique Setien, who was sacked on Monday.
The 57-year-old will leave his position as manager of the Dutch national team.

It is a time of considerable change at Barcelona, who announced that sporting director Eric Abidal has left the club.
Barcelona also announced that elections for the club’s presidency will take place in March.
Koeman faces a significant rebuilding job at Barcelona, who are still reeling from their 8-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

As a player Koeman was at Barcelona between 1989 and 1995. He won the European Cup in 1992 and also won the league four times in succession.
He later returned to the club as assistant coach, a position he held between 1998 and 2000.
Koeman has managed a wide range of clubs including Ajax, Benfica, PSV, Southampton and Everton.
After failing to win a trophy this season Barcelona are likely to oversee an overhaul of their squad in the transfer market, while there is uncertainty over the future of Lionel Messi.
